EfesanPort has been investing in building an additional quay in order to further improve its service quality. Driven by the target of increasing the cargo handling capacity, the quay, which is currently 225 meters in length and 20 meters in width, will be expanded to make it 300 meters in length and 30 meters in width. Additionally, works are underway to build a second quay, which will be 300 meters in length and 30 meters in width. After the completion of the quay investments, Efesanport will have increased the berthing capacity which is currently 750 meters by approximately 1500 meters amounting to an approximately 100% increase.

In addition to the multi-story indoor car-park, on the completion of the second phase multi-story indoor custom bonded car park of 130.000 m², Efesanport will be able to accomodate 11.000 vehicles at a time amounting to 450.000 vehicles annually. Additionally, Efesanport will also significantly increase its capacity for breakbulk cargoes, providing more customers with faster and more efficient quality service.
