EfesanPort has been providing dry and bulk general cargo handling services since its establishment in 1989 as a private port. Necessary loading and unloading equipment, experienced and proficient staff are available for full satisfaction of our customers.

The port is situated in Gebze Organized Indistrual Zone at the north of Izmit Gulf ( 40° - 46` North / 29° - 32` East ) 55 kilometers to Istanbul. The major industries of Turkey are locaated within its hinterland. The port has easy access to the two main highways; TEM ( Trans European Motorway) and D-100 (E-5).

In strategic position provides a significant advantage to the port.

EfesanPort has 225 meters long, 20 meters wide jetty with 7,5 to 24 meters water depth and 300 meters long pier with 5.5 meters to 6.5 meters water depth. Vessels up to 60.000 DWT can easily berth on both sides of the jetty. RO – RO facilities are also available.

EfesanPort is located on 23.000 square meters of land at the seaside and 75.000 square meters of land for open storage across the Istanbul – Ankara railway. The seaward and landward areas are connected with an overpass and underpass, which crossed the railways, enabling all sizes and types of cargo, carriers, cranes and equipment to enter and leave the port very easily.

The port operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It is equipped with the required international certificates and codes for ports. ( ISPS code). EfesanPort has the international IMO certificate TRIZT-0030.

Presently, cargo handling capacity is 2,5 million metric tons per year. However, in the near future the capacity of the port will be increaed more than the double and further services will be available for our customers.
